Training Information

MNAA plays an important role in the development and delivery of training programmes that will ensure that knowledge will be passed on to industry and others in an efficient and practical manner. Therefore, the main aim of providing the training modules is to improve the competitiveness of the Area by strengthening research, innovation and technology transfer.

The partners work closely with the industrial companies in the area to determine the areas where training is required and provide the necessary training solutions. This has been achieved through the completion of a relevant Questionnaire and the modules listed have been developed to meet the needs of this survey. The partners were able to tap into the resources of their institutes and into the knowledge of a wide range of experts to develop these programmes and to present the courses.

MNAA specialises in: ceramics and glasses; biomaterials and health; polymers and composites; and environment/sustainable development, but is also providing more basic materials characterisation and trouble shooting services to SMEs and others.
